Everbright Dental is proud to offer Invisalign® orthodontic treatments to both new and existing patients. Invisalign® is a clear, removable aligner worn over the teeth, providing a non-invasive, aesthetic straightening option that is comfortable, convenient, and easy to use. Traditional orthodontic treatments often include metal braces, which can be unattractive and bulky. Invisalign® aligners are comfortable, convenient, and easy to use and can be removed to allow you to eat, brush, and floss normally.
In addition to straightening teeth, Invisalign® provides other substantial health benefits. Crowded, gapped, or misaligned teeth can be more difficult to keep properly cleaned and flossed, leading to an increased risk of tooth decay. Misaligned teeth are also more prone to issues like cracking and wearing over time due to improper occlusion (bite). Straightening your teeth with Invisalign® can protect against these issues and help keep the gums firm around the teeth. This will protect against bacterial infections that lead to gum disease.
The Invisalign® system is easy and convenient to use. First, you will have a consultation with Dr. Kenneth Kim or Dr. Sojin Kim to determine if you are a good candidate for using Invisalign® to straighten your smile. A 3D model is then created of your teeth to design your individualized treatment plan based on your unique needs. Invisalign® aligners are custom-fabricated for your teeth, and you will change to a new aligner every two to four weeks.
Choosing Invisalign® to straighten your teeth means avoiding many issues commonly associated with traditional braces. Invisalign® patients are much less prone to discomfort or mouth sores than patients with traditional metal braces. Invisalign® also allows you to remove your aligners to allow proper brushing and flossing, leading to a reduced rate of plaque buildup and tooth decay.
Everbright Dental is dedicated to helping you achieve a straight, beautiful, and healthy smile. Contact our office to schedule a consultation with Dr. Kenneth Kim and Dr. Sojin Kim to learn if Invisalign® id right for you.
